| 2. | Robert Allan Moore  (1.Ellis1) was born on 12 Jul 1901 in Chicago, Illinois; died on 24 Sep 1972 in Brooklyn, New York; was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio. Notes:
Robert moved about with his family from Ohio to California to Ohio to Tennessee (where he graduated from high scholl at the Baylor School, Chattanooga) and back to Ohio where he went to college (1917-1921) and medical school (1924-1928) at the
Ohio State University. He served on the faculties of Western Reserve University in Cleveland (1933-1939) and Washington University in St, Louis (1939-1954). In 1946 he became dean of the medical school of Washington University. In 1954 he
was appointed vice chancellor for the health professions, University of Pittsburgh, and in 1957 President of the Downstate Medical Center, State University of New York in Brooklyn and dean of the college of medicine.
