She (Eliza) was married to my father - a neighbor boy - Jan. 21, 1872 at the home of her maternal grandparents Maurice & Hannah Davis Moore in the southern edge of Attica, Seneca County, Ohio. Witness to this marriage was Eliza's only living
brother Samuel Benton Carson and his fiancee Miss Millie Spencer whom he married a few years later. The minister was a Rev. Royce (a U. B. minister)
