James' parents were Jacob Miller and Sarah Morehouse (from Washington Township). Jacob's parents were Christopher Miller and Ruby Rogers (from Connecticut, Auburn, N.Y., and Wyoming County.) This line goes back to Thomas Hardy, one of the founding pilgrims of Ipswitch, Mass. One of the Rogers (my g-g-g-g-grandfather) was in the revolutionary army. The Miller line is English-Scot-Irish.
