C.C.C. camp near Hayes Center, was established on historical data furnished by this pioneer carrier. He eas playing cards with a group of friends in Indianola, when he suffered a heart attack that ended his life.
- His wife and his sister were both named Nettie. Ina Mae Wolfe confirms this.
