See paper files from P Kelderman for more information. excerpt: Daniel Young married Elizabeth Windecker daughter of Henry Windecker who settled on the Grand River below Cayuga near the site of the old Windecker Church. A ferry was established there as well as a tavern. Daniel eventually left his Grand River lands and removed to Barton Township where he lived on the Crown Grant of his wife Elizabeth, owning other lands near Ryckman's Corners as well. He apparently died there sometime after 1834 the date of his will in which he mentioned some but not all of his children.
