  Notes	Robert moved about with his family from Ohio to California to Ohio to Tennessee (where he graduated from high scholl at the Baylor School, Chattanooga) and back to Ohio where he went to college (1917-1921) and medical school (1924-1928) at the Ohio State University. He served on the faculties of Western Reserve University in Cleveland (1933-1939) and Washington University in St, Louis (1939-1954). In 1946 he became dean of the medical school of Washington University. In 1954 he was appointed vice chancellor for the health professions, University of Pittsburgh, and in 1957 President of the Downstate Medical Center, State University of New York in Brooklyn and dean of the college of medicine. The Ancestors of Richard Allan Moore and Calvin Cooper Moore by Robert Allan Moore and Ruth Miller Moore Robert died of emphysema in 1972 in Brooklyn NY. After his death, Ruth came to live with her son Richard and his family in Pittsburgh, PA.
