- A letter from Sarah Forsyth to "brother & sister" dtd. 13 April 1873, which states in part "Louisa and family are about the same as usual. John Anthony has not carried on quite so bad since he came out of prison. I suppose you heard that
Louisa had him sent to jail for abuse to her, he was sent up for 2 months but they took him out at the expiration of one month because his mother took on so about it."
- The letter also contained a copy of names from family bible which sarah was sending her children in response to a letter from a daughter
- Sarah refered to her husband as "Brock" in her letter, not Isaac, so he must have gone by his middle name.
- 20 JUL 1852 this date according to Sarahs letter of 1873 says Sarah Eastman died, who she is isnt told, it was taken from family bible of the Miseners
