| 1. | Cornelia F. Westbrook was born in 1832 in North Carolina (daughter of Westbrook and Sarah). Notes:
Looks like she married the widowed father of her sister-in-law, Martha Jane Jones
Cornelia married William Stanley Jones on 25 May 1854 in Woodsdale, Person Co., North Carolina. William was born on 18 Sep 1820 in Mechelenberg Co., Virginia. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
Notes:
There was a child, Marcellus Moss living with William Stanley Jones and Cornelia Falconis Westbrok in the 1870 census. According to Laura B. Grover:
"The child Marcellus was the illegitimate son of my great grandfather, Robert Henry Westbrook. He was not married at the time of the boy’s birth and the Jones family took Marcellus to raise because Cornelia was Robert Henry’s sister. I found documentation to this effect in the probate records of William S. Jones in NC a couple of years ago when I went to the archives to do research. Marcellus apparently only lived with Cornelia and William. I believe his mother was a Morris. There was no bastardy bond required to be filed because the child was not taking money or support from the parish. He eventually married and had children. I looked at his death certificate and it does not give the name of his mother or father. Says unknown in both places."

| 5. | Happy Salley was born in 1780 in Virginia. Notes:
Happy might be a nickname for Keren Happuch, a girls name somewhat popular at the time.
KEREN-HAPPUCH - ker'-en-hap'-uk, ke'-ren-hap'-uk (qeren happukh, "horn of antimony," i.e. beautifier; Septuagint Amaltheias keras): The 3rd daughter of Job (Job 42:14), born after his restoration from affliction. Antimony, producing a brilliant black, was used among the Orientals for coloring the edges of the eyelids, making the eyes large and lustrous?ce, the suggestiveness of this name of an article of the ladies' toilet, a little horn or receptacle for the eye-paint.
The name "Happy" may also be a nickname for Happuck, a surname found about that time in Virginia where Sarah, Randolph and Happy were born.
Notes:
In the 1850 census for North Carolina, there is a Sarah Westbrook with children Robert and Cornelia of the expected ages. She is living next door to Randolph and Happy Westbrook. Also in that household is a Nancy Westbrook.
In the Person County, North Carolina Deed Books 1792-1825, page 202, it looks like Randolph was a witness to the transfer of a deed:
