    876 Baptized 27 April 1746 as Johan Christoffel. On 16 December 1764 as "Stoffel Wintermout" he witnessed the baptism of Elizabeth, daughter of his brother George. He settled in the Wyoming Valley, and his name appears on the tax list for the
    Exeter District in August 1777. The only record so far discovered concerning him in Canada is a return for his household in 1781 which at the time consisted of one woman and a male child under six years of age. (?) A son under six years of
    age in 1781.
