2. | John Jones Lewis was born on 2 Mar 1803 in Chester County, Pennsylvania; died on 9 Feb 1880 in Pendleton Friends Cemetery. Notes:
John, son of Joseph and Lydia Jones Lewis of Radnor, later of Willistown, Chester County, Pennsylvania. In 1832 Rebecca and John moved to Pendleton, Fall Creek Township. Among the first settlers, John was a farmer and surveyor. Many Quakers
from Pennsylvania followed soon after. Included were Rebecca's parents, founder of Fall Creek Meeting and Johns widowed mother with five unmarried children.
John married Rebecca THOMAS on 13 Aug 1829 in Pennsylvania. Rebecca (daughter of Jonathan THOMAS and Ann Lewis) was born on 9 Jan 1808 in Cataway (sp?) County, New York; died on 2 Jul 1865; was buried in Pendleton Friends Cemetery. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

7. | Ann Lewis Notes:
Daughter of John and Meredith Lewis.
Ann was born in a home later occupied by Pierre Fraley, built in 1712 and known as "Iron Pine" farm. Located between Kimberton and Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Jonathan and Ann lived on Beaver Hill Road near St. Mathews Road until the farm
was sold when they moved to Pendleton, Indianna and founded Fall Creek monthly Meeting.
