      Henry Savercool was born about 1759/1760 probably in Stillwater, Sussex Co., NJ , the son of Wilhelm and Christina __?__ Savercool. He was married two times, (1) Christina __?__ (2) Elcy Ann (Kishpaugh) Ulp. His children were

      The following deed is proof that Henry Savacool had a wife named Christina in December of 1795 when his father died intestate and left land to his children.

      On Wednesday, July 5th in the afternoon I went to Newton, New Jersey, Sussex County seat to look up wills and deeds. ........And concerning the Savacools ......



      bk C pg. 378 - December 12, 1795 - To all Christian people to whom these presents shall come, we Jacob Savacool and Phillipina, his wife, Henry Savacool and Christina, his wife, William Savacool and Elizabeth, his wife, Daniel Mc Curdy and Ida,
      his wife, formerly Ida Savacool, heirs of the late Wilhelm Savacool, late of Newton in the county of Sussex and State of New Jersey was in his life time seized of and in possession of sundry tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the
      county of Sussex and being so thereof seized, died intestate, whereby the said land became vested in his children, to wit, five sons, Jacob, William, Henry, John and Conrad, and two daughters, that is to

      say, Ida, who has intermarried with Daniel Mc Curdy and Margaret, who has been intermarried with Frederick Campbell but is dead and has left issue ....150 3/4 acres and another 14 acres, all quit claimed to John and Conrad Savacool for 350
      pounds in specie proclamation money of New Jersey.



      Henry then married Elcey Ulp on 19 April 1802. My Friday, April 15, 1977 entry below shows Henry's second wife's name was Elsie Kishpaugh as well as the fact that Henry Savercool arrived in the United States with his first wife, Christina.

      Julia married William Wintermute on 18 Feb 1818. William (son of Peter Windamute and Esther Rhodes) was born on 29 Jul 1792 in Stillwater, New Jersey; died on 9 Nov 1868. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
