      Notes:

      Frances ViEttia "Vi" Jesseph, of Wellington, Kansas, retired saleswoman of 39 years with Avon, died Saturday evening, October 6, 2007 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 93.

      Vi was born the Daughter of Francis Urven Lewis and Ivah Pearl (Cooperrider) Lewis on Friday, June 19, 1914 in Renfro, Oklahoma.

      On February 8, 1934 she and Jesse Lee Jesseph were united in marriage at Anthony, Kansas.
      Together they celebrated 38 years of marriage before his death on December 25, 1972.

      In addition to her husband Vi was preceded in death by by her parents, sisters Mae Martin and Irene Lewis, and a son-in-law Dennis Rickard.

      Survivors include son, Wayne Jesseph and his wife Clorene of Cassville, Missouri; daughter, Vera Rickard of Wellington, Kansas; brother, Charlie Lewis and his wife Virginia of Fredonia, Kansas; sister, Merle Baker of Benedict, Kansas; grandchildren, Carlton Rickard and his wife Sharon of Katy, Texas, Gary Jesseph of Wellington, Kansas, Jeanette Abasolo of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Abbie Abasolo of Wellington, Kansas, Jesse Abasolo of Wellington, Kansas, Lydia Rickard of Katy, Texas; great-great-Grandchildren, Kaden Abasolo of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Lucas Abasolo of Wellington, Kansas, Zoie Abasolo of Wellington, Kansas.

      Friends may call at the Day Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007. The family will greet and receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

      Funeral services for Vi will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in Chapel of the Day Funeral Home, Wellington, Kansas with Pastor Sallie Shore of the First Christian Church officiating.

      Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens in Wellington, Kansas.

      A memorial has been established in her loving memory with the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, Kansas 66601. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
