My Great-grandfather John A.Thompson married (1850) a Margaret Opdyke before he married my Great-grandmother. Among some old family papers I came across a letter written to Margaret Opdyke in 1879. The writer of this letter listed
information from a family bible - basically the births, marriages and deaths of the children of Anthony Opdyke and Anna Lindaberry. (I can only assume that this letter was of NY, NJ or CT origin.) The following information may be of interest
to you:

"Mary, daughter of Anthony and Anna Opdyke was born Feb. the 13, 1818"



"Fredrick F. Wintermute and Mary Opdyke was married March the 13 1838.
